Minto is going to require its urban property owners to make sure their street numbers are showing.
Bylaw enforcement officer Cam Forbes says emergency responders sometimes find it difficult to find some addresses.
The new bylaw requires the numbers be clearly visible and at least 4 inches in size.
For anyone not complying, the municipality will put up the number, at the property-owner’s expense.
The new numbering will include parks and playgrounds.
