GOJHL Wrap: Warriors, Cyclones and Dutchmen All Earn Wins

Stratford 5 Elmira 2

The Stratford Warriors scored three unanswered goals in the third period to beat Elmira 5-2.

Curtis Abbott tied the game with 45 seconds left in the second period.

Corson Searles power play goal at 1:55 of the third would stand as the game winner. Jack Scanlan added insurance on the power play at 17:34 of the final frame. Kaleb Pearson scored unassisted on an empty Sugar Kings net as time expired to complete the rally.

The Warriors were 3-7 on the power play while Elmira was 1-4.

The Sugar Kings got goals from Mason McMahon and Ryan Takamatsu.

Andrew Vingliatore earned the win with 33 saves. Tyler Mazzocato stopped 35 of 39 shots for the Sugar Kings.

Listowel 5 Brampton 2

Brampton gave Listowel 12 power play opportunities and the Cyclones capitalized scoring three times with the man advantage as they beat the Bombers 5-2.

Braeden Ferguson spent 18 minutes in the box for Brampton including 10 minutes for head contact and misconduct.

The Cyclones were led by Jakob Lee with a goal and two assists. Danny Skinner and Max Coyle each scored and set up another in the win.

Max Wright made 17 saves for the victory while Travis Smith stopped 23 shots for the Bombers.

Kitchener 4 Guelph 2

Jake Burton scored the game winner at 3:30 of the third period as the Kitchener Dutchmen doubled Guelph 4-2.

Liam Hurley led the Dutchmen with a goal and an assist.

Ryan George led the Hurricanes with a goal and an assist.

Riley Daniels stopped 30 shots for Kitchener while Jet Greaves made 25 saves for Guelph.
