Federal Liberal Rural Caucus Chair To Speak In Lucknow

The head of the federal Liberal party’s Rural Caucus will be the guest speaker at Saturday’s annual meeting of the Huron-Bruce Federal Liberal Association.

Thomas J. Harvey is the member of parliament for a riding in New Brunswick and has a very strong farming background. He's a graduate of Agriculture in Plant Science from Dalhousie University, and the Atlantic Agricultural Leadership Program.

He and his wife have worked together producing potatoes for eight years, and more recently, eggs with the New Brunswick Egg Producers.

He will speak about the work of the Rural Caucus, which brings together members of parliament from across the country who represent rural ridings, or ridings that have a significant rural component.

The Huron-Bruce riding association meeting is at the Royal Canadian Legion hall in Lucknow, starting at 10am Saturday morning.
