Minto is enjoying a housing boom.
Council approved two plans for subdivisions in Palmerston at its meeting Monday.
One subdivision will be 23 units and the other 158. Both are located on the east side of Palmerston in the vicinity of the TG Minto auto parts plant.
Meanwhile, the Palmerston industrial park is almost full and council is moving ahead with plans for a new sewage lift station.
That will see the development of another 40 acres of industrial land to the north of the existing industrial park.
