The OPP in Huron County are asking for public assistance in finding a man wanted for weapons-related offences that took place near Dungannon last Thursday.
A police investigation determined that the owner of a side-by-side utility vehicle suspected that his stolen machine was being stored at a residence on River Mill Line. He and a friend went to the property, but were met with resistance, and there was confrontation.
As the two men left the property, the other man fired a shot from a rifle in the direction of their vehicle. Later, police recover a firearm used in this incident, but the man disappeared.

He's described as about 6'0" tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with a medium build and dark hair. He has ties to Huron, Perth and Bruce counties.
