The Hanover and District Hospital Day Away Program will see some new plantings this week.
Hanover Home Hardware Building Centre and Tree Canada are celebrating National Tree Day on Thursday by planting trees and shrubs at the Day Away Program in Hanover.
The day is celebrated across the country with tree dedications, plantings, educational workshops, outdoor education walks, interpretive days, schoolyard plantings and seminars.
The tree and shrub planting event is planned for 2pm Thursday at the Hanover & District Hospital Day Away Program.
"The Hanover & District Hospital Day Away Program is an important part in our community for providing support to those in need," stated Dan and Emily Moulton, DealerOwners, Hanover Home Hardware Building Centre. "It's important to us here at Hanover Home Hardware to help a program that our family, friends and our great customers do use or may have to use one day. It's a continuation of our ongoing commitment to the rejuvenation of this area."
