Bruce Telecom Contributes To Huron Shores Hospice

Bruce Telecom has made a financial commitment to the Huron Shores Hospice.

Bruce Telecom has confirmed a donation of $15,000 in cash and in-kind services for the establishment of the residential hospice.

When fundraising reaches the initial goal of $310,000 later this year, the organization will open its first bed, co-located with Tiverton Park Manor.

Huron Shores Hospice is a non-profit organization working to bring a centre for excellence in hospice palliative care to the Kincardine area.

The volunteer group plans to provide holistic care to meet the physical, psychological, social, cultural, emotional, and spiritual need for people facing the end of life, as well as offering support for their loved ones.

Last month, representatives of Bruce Telecom, together with members of the Huron Shores Hospice committee, toured the Tiverton Park Manor.

"We are very proud to be able to lend our support, and excited to see the project moving nearer to implementation," says Bart Cameron, CEO of Bruce Telecom.
