Bruce Peninsula OPP are investigating after someone shot a dog in the town of South Bruce Peninsula.
On July 20 at 11:51pm, officers responded to a call on Jewel Bridge Rd. after the homeowner reported someone had shot his dog.
Around 11:30 p.m. the family pet, a 13-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua, was let outside to go to the bathroom. When the dog didn't return, the owner investigated, and located the dog deceased in the laneway. It had been shot in the chest with a small-calibre firearm.
