The Blyth Festival Art Gallery opens this weekend with an exhibit that features the works of hobby artists and professionals from Huron County and beyond.
Included among the pieces will be oil paintings and acrylics, photography, ceramics and glass. Until the artists bring in their creations, not even the show’s organizers know exactly what will be shown.
The gallery’s committee will be accepting submissions of art on Saturday, between 9am and noon.
Regional artists are asked to bring a maximum of two pieces to the Gallery for exhibition. A fee of $10 per piece is charged.
The annual non-juried community show runs from June 10 to the 23.
All art will remain in the gallery for the length of the show, and anyone interested in purchasing a work of art will be directed to the artist.
