Milverton To Host International Softball This Summer

Milverton is hosting some elite level softball this summer including the Australian Men's National Softball Team and the national teams from Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

The Aussie Steelers will play the first game of their exhibition series in Brussels on June 26 in preparation for the ISF World Championships in Whitehorse, Yukon.

They come to Milverton June 27 to take on the Elmira Expos at Arand Field.

On June 29, they play two games in Milverton, the first against the Shakespeare Falcons and the second against the Huron County Fastball All-Stars.

There is a training session with the Steelers on June 30 for ages 7-17 at the Perth East Recreation Complex in Milverton.

Canada Day weekend will see Milverton host softball teams from the Dominican Republic and Venezuela as they play a mini exhibition series against the Steelers.

On Monday, July 3, the Steelers will play the St. Paul's Generals and Nith River Monsters at Arand Field in Milverton.

On Tuesday, July 4 the Steelers face the Kitchener Fastball All-Stars at Arand Field.
