North Perth council has approved its 2017 capital and operating budget.
Property taxes paid by North Perth ratepayers reflect taxes levied by the municipality, Perth County and local school boards.
When all three levy requisitions are combined, the overall levy increase in North Perth will be 6.5%.
But because of assessment shifts, the 2017 residential levy impact is less than 5.6%.
