Wellington North has contracted Derek McCaughan to temporarily take on the role of director of public works.
Prior to retiring, McCaughan was the executive director of operations, transit and emergency services for the City of Guelph.
He takes over from Matthew Aston who resigned from Wellington North earlier this year to go to the Orangeville public works department.
