Cyclones Win Game 1 of Conference Semifinal

Jamie Huber set up three of the Cyclones goals in Listowel's 6-0 victory over Waterloo in Game 1 of their GOJHL Conference Semifinal.

Brock Baier earned the shut out with 29 saves. The Cyclones out shot the Siskins 41-29 and were 3-7 on the power play.

Chayse Herrfort opened the scoring late in the first with a power play goal assisted by Mitch Deelstra and Alec Tiley.

Keaton Willis got the scoring started just 45 seconds into the second period. Cullen Mercer found the back of the net midway through the period, Deelstra scored at 12:46 and Ben VanOotenghem capped the four goal second period with less than 30 seconds left in the frame.

Holdyn Lansink scored the Cyclones final goal on the power play midway through the third.

Game 2 is Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Waterloo.
