Attack's Heart Beats And Hockey Sticks Returns

The Heart Beats and Hockey Sticks fundraising game is back.

Once again the Owen Sound Attack are partnering with the Owen Sound Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation to raise money for the program.

In a release, the team says the inaugural event last season raised $35,000 for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and helped to greatly reduce the wait time for those in need of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program's services.

The Attack look to add to that total when they host the Windsor Spitfires on February 4 at 7:30pm.

The Attack will host a Celebrity Serve night at Boston Pizza the Tuesday night before the game, serving fans their favourite dishes from 6pm until 8pm. Boston Pizza will be donating 10% of all food sales to the Heart Beats and Hockey Sticks initiative.

Starting January 20, fans will be able to buy Heart Beats and Hockey Sticks t-shirts at the Attack Shack for $20 with all the proceeds going to the initiative.

There are also a limited number of exclusive Heart Beats and Hockey Sticks Game Night packages available "offering fans a one-of-a-kind dressing room tour" the day of the game.

The packages including a pair of ticket vouchers, a $40 Shorty's Grill gift card and the dressing room tour. Their are available to the first 20 fans and cost $200.

The Attack will be wearing special jerseys the night of the game and they will be auctioned off by MPP Bill Walker following the game in a live auction. The Bantam Rep team will be passing a bucket through the stands to collect donations and there will be a Chuck-a-Puck game during the second intermission.
