Gadjovich's Hat Trick Gives Attack 11th Straight Win

Jonah Gadjovich had a hat trick and an assist to lead the Owen Sound Attack over the Guelph Storm 82 for their record breaking 11th win in a row.

Michael McNiven stopped 21 shots in the win. Liam Herbst  made 34 saves for the Storm.

Kevin Hancock opened the scoring on the power play to give the Attack a very brief 1-0 lead. Guelph's Nick Deakin-Poot answered less than a minute later to tie the game and Isaac Ratcliffe put the Storm up 2-1 at 12:12 of the opening period.

Markus Phillips tied the game just over a minute later and Matthew Struthers goal with just under two-and-a-half minutes left in the first would stand as the game winner.

Gadjovich scored his first goal of the game with 20 seconds left in the period to give the Attack a 4-2 lead heading into the second.

The Attack's next two goals would be courtesy of Gadjovich -- at 4:33 of the second and :042 of the third -- and would complete his hat trick.

Petrus Palmu scored unassisted at 3:09 of the third to extend the Attack's lead to 7-2 and Zachary Roberts got on the board at 16:11.

The Attack out shot the Storm 42-23 in the win.

The Attack are now in third place in the Midwest Division with 55 points. Erie and London both have 57 points, with London leading the Division with two fewer losses.
