West Wawanosh Mutual Donates To Wingham And District Hospital

The campaign to support the redevelopment of the Wingham and District Hospital has received another donation.

West Wawanosh Mutual Insurance Company has made a pledge of $25,000.

In recognition of the donation, West Wawanosh Mutual will be named as the sponsor of one of the exam rooms in the new primary care clinic being developed in the new healthcare campus.   It's set to open before the end of the year.

"We give our policyholders peace of mind through insurance and investing in local healthcare is just one more way we can help provide peace of mind to our policyholders and the whole community," says West Wawanosh Mutual Insurance CEO Cathie Simpson.

The Wingham and District Hospital is currently undergoing the first stages of a $17-million redevelopment.  Any donations made to the redevelopment project will benefit the expansion of six key areas, including the chemotherapy clinic, upgrading of digital imaging equipment, and the creation of a community healthcare campus.
