Preparations are well underway for the eighth annual Lucknow Kinsmen's Music In The Fields.
Jordan Andrew of the Lucknow Kinsmen attended the 15th annual CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon on Thursday, and says there are some changes coming to this year's event.
"The layout will be different, with more open grounds for camping, including a VIP camping area called 'Graceland' named after the original property owner, Grace. Roughly 13,000 camping sites are there, and the walk will be much shorter to the venue this year. We are also doing our first three-day event, as we add Thursday to the Friday-Saturday lineup of the past, and we have a very special performance planned for the Thursday which will stay secret."
Despite not knowing the mystery Thursday night guest, Andrew says they have lots of great headline talent coming.
"We have Lee Brice coming from Nashville, which will be awesome on the Saturday, and also Frankie Ballard as well from Nashville. Friday we have great Canadian talent with Dean Brody and Tebey, too. Obviously, we also have that special Thursday night as well, so lots for people to look forward to," he says.
This year's Music In The Fields takes place August 25-27.
