A new educational program that helps adult students earn their high school diploma will be showcased next week.
Upper Grand District School Board have partnered with the Linamar Corporation to from SWAF (School Within A Factory). The program helps adult students get their diploma while working around their work schedule and responsibilities.
Students do not have to be Linamar employees and the program is free.
Upper Grand teachers run the program, and make special education plans for each individual. The program is hosting an open house on December 3 from 11:30am to 1pm at the Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence in Guelph.
