There's an all-candidates meeting in Arthur tonight, but it has nothing to do with the federal election campaign.
It's for a by-election in Wellington North to fill a vacant seat in Ward 3, following the resignation of councillor Mark Goetz.
There's an unusually large slate of candidates - eight in total.
They will address voters tonight at the all-candidates meeting at the Arthur Community Centre. It's hosted by the Arthur Lion's Club, and starts at 7:00 o'clock.
