The London Lightning have signed forward Kirk Williams Jr. for the 2018-2019 NBL Canada season.
The Lightning made the announcement on Thursday.
“I’m very excited to be back in London to make a run at NBL history with the first ever three-peat, and play in front of the best fans in the league,” said Williams is a news release.
Williams returns to the team after bringing his experience to the team last season during their 2017-2018 championship run.
“I am really excited to have Kirk back this season. I have coached him the previous two seasons. He is a real winner and that was clearly seen in the 2017-2018 NBL Finals. At 6’7” with cat-like quickness on the defensive end anchored with his experience in this league makes him a real asset,” said Head Coach Keith Vassell.
