The London Lightning have signed Bryan Akinkugbe for the 2018-2019 NBL Canada Season.
The Lightning made the announcement on Wednesday.
“Bryan brings a warrior mentality and physicality while being a skilled traditional post player," said Head Coach Keith Vassell. "I am really excited to have him back for this season.”
Akinkugbe an NBL rookie when he signed with the Lightning last season, and he remained with the team until he was released near the end of the year to pursue a playing opportunity in Mexico.
“I’m excited to come back," he said. "London is an amazing city, the team is an amazing organization and I’m excited to show that I can play at this level and help bring another championship title to the city."
