The London Lightning's winning streak did not reach lucky 13.

Despite the defeat, London remains ahead of the St. John's Edge in first place in the NBLC Central Division standings with a 14-6 record.

Herring, Williamson and Kirk Williams Jr. each had seven rebounds to lead London on defence.

Halifax's Antoine Mason led all scorers with 32 points. C.J. Washington and Billy White each picked up a double-double. Washington has 23 points and ten rebounds while White led with 15 rebounds and scored 20.

The Hurricanes were in control of the game from the beginning, first taking a 13-point lead after one quarter then leading London 70-56 at halftime. Halifax extended their lead in the third quarter and held off the Lightning to win.

London hits the road next Sunday afternoon and takes on the rival Windsor Express.
