The Lakeshore Canadiens opened the regular season at home with a 6-2 win over the Wheatley Sharks on Friday.
Matt Smith, Jarrett Tazzman, Mejoe Gasparovic, Luke Mahon, Colin Sartor and Kyler Carter all scored once for Lakeshore.
Parker Boyle and Colin Sartor scored the two goals for Wheatley.
The Sharks return to the ice on Monday at 7pm for their home opener against the Blenheim Blades. And then on September 22, the Canadiens are at home again against the Petrolia Flyers at 7pm.

Also in Junior C hockey action, the Dresden Kings won their home opener 5-3 against the Petrolia Flyers.
Geoffry VandenBoorn led Dresden with two goals, while Will Tetzlaff, Brendan Ritchie and Cory Lucier all scored one each.
The Kings head to Wallaceburg on Wednesday to take on the Lakers at 7:30pm.

And in Junior B hockey, the London Nationals hammered the St. Marys Lincolns 11-3.
Jack Webb led the Nationals with a hat trick, while Brett Primeau scored twice. Isaiah Payne, Josh Coyle, Mitchell Webb, Kyle Dawson, James Turner and Luke Drewitt also scored in London's win.
The Nationals will battle the Strathroy Rockets at home on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
