Lightning Beat A's 126-107 to End Regular Season

Seven London Lightning players scored in double digits in their regular season finale.

The Lightning scored 43 points in the first quarter alone as they beat the Orangeville A's 126-107 Sunday afternoon at Budweiser Gardens.  This concludes what many believe to be a cakewalk in the regular season, as the Lightning finished the season with a 35-5 record.

London cruised to a 67-56 lead at halftime, then continued to dominate the hardwood in the third quarter by outshooting Orangeville 37-26, which was enough to carry them to the win.

Royce White led the Lightning with 21 points on offence and nine rebounds in defence.  Maurice Bolden was not too far behind with 18 points, including eight-for-12 in field goals.  Marvin Singleton had 15 more points for London.

Justin Moss led all scorers in the game with 33 points for the A's, including a perfect 11-for-11 in field goals and ten-for-12 in free throws.  Tyshawn Patterson contributed 21 points while Alex Johnson had 20.  Moss also led on defence with 11 rebounds.

The Lightning and A's will meet again to kick off the playoffs.  Game 1 of their first round series is Thursday night at Budweiser Gardens.
