Lightning Beat A's On Road 126-122

Royce White had 30 points and led the London Lightning with six rebounds in their 126-122 win over the Orangeville A's on Sunday.

White also had six assists and shot 12 out of 16 field goal attempts.  He also shot six out of eight free throws in the game.

Garrett Williamson and Joel Friesen had 17 points apiece for the Lightning.  Both were lights out at the free-throw line.  Friesen was a perfect eight-for-eight while Williamson was seven-for-eight in free throws.

Doug Herring, Jr. led London with nine assists and scored eight points.  The Lightning started the contest strong with an 11-point advantage after the first quarter, and held a 68-61 lead over the A's at halftime.  The lead went back and forth toward the end of the game, but the Lightning was able to put Orangeville away.

Stefan Nastic and Corbin Thomas each led the A's with 19 points each.  Nastic also led defensively with nine boards.  Rick Bodiford and Alex Johnson had 15 points apiece for Orangeville.  Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson had 13 assists and 11 points for the game's only double-double.

The Lightning host the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans at Budweiser Gardens Thursday night.
