Lightning Strikes Miracles 146-102

The London Lightning dominated from beginning to end in their 146-102 win over the Moncton Miracles Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens.

The Lightning improve to 11-3 on the season, good for first in the NBL Central Division standings.  London also set a franchise record for the most points scored in a game.

London led the Miracles by a 69-45 score at halftime and continued to dominate the contest in the second half.

Kyle Johnson scored a whopping 51 points for the Lightning.  He went 17-for-22 in field goals and six-for-eight in three-points shots.  He also shot 11 free throws out of 13 attempts.

Julian Boyd picked up 19 points for London while Ryan Anderson got 16 points.  Royce White led the defence for London with seven boards.

Tydran Beaty and Malik Story each led Moncton with 17 points apiece.  Antonio "Scoop" Jardine had nine rebounds.

The Lightning heads to Niagara Thursday night to take on the River Lions.
