Lightning Stop Express 106-99

Ryan Anderson sunk 32 points, including six three-pointers, as the London Lightning beat the Windsor Express 106-99 Sunday afternoon at Budweiser Gardens.

Anderson sank ten out of 16 field goals for the Lightning, in their third win out of the last four contests.

Julian Boyd contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.  Junior Cadougan added 13 points for the Bolts.

Warren Ward was the points leader for Windsor with 18 points.  He also sank four three-point shots and had four boards.  DeAndre Thomas added 15 points, including seven free throws, while Clinton Springer-Williams pushed 14 points through the hoop.  Maurice Jones had 12 assists for Windsor in addition to ten points.

The Express outscored the Lightning in the fourth quarter 26-22, putting together a spirited comeback effort before faltering.  London scored 46 of its points in the paint while Windsor's bench accounted for 44 of their total points.

The Express head to Niagara Monday night for a game against the River Lions, then return to the WFCU Centre Wednesday for a rematch with the Lightning.
