Nick Ebert scored the overtime winner as the Dallas Stars defeated the Florida Panthers 2-1 in NHL exhibition play at Budweiser Gardens on Sunday.
The game between two of the NHL's division winners was the 12th NHL preseason game ever played at the arena.
Jonathan Huberdeau opened the scoring in the first period to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. In the second period, the Stars tied it up with a goal from Antoine Roussel.
Maxime Legace was the winning goaltender for the Stars.
