The Windsor Spitfires have acquired London Knights defenceman Tyler Nother in exchange for draft picks.
Nother was London's third round pick and 58th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
“Tyler is a player with lots of potential,” says Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel in a media release. “He's just 17 years old. This is a good move for us right now and for the future.”
The 6'3", 188-pound Orangeville native appeared in 40 games in 2014-15, posting two assists and -8 rating along with 54 penalty minutes. Nother has played only two games so far this year.
The Spits made the trade in exchange for Ottawa's third round selection in 2018 and Windsor's sixth round pick in 2020.
