Police Focus On Final Hours Of Homicide Victim's Life

London police are zeroing in on the last 36 hours of William MacPherson's life as they continue to probe the 60-year-old man's death.

MacPherson's body was found in a ravine near the Thames River in the area of Wortley Rd. and Stanley St. around 7:45pm Friday. An autopsy determined his death was a homicide.

Investigators are now asking anyone with information about MacPherson's movements from Thursday morning until the discovery of his body Friday night to contact them. Originally, they had been mapping out his activities throughout the entire week leading up to his death.

MacPherson was last seen walking westbound on Bathurst St. from Richmond St. just before noon on Thursday. He was wearing blue shorts and a blue shirt at the time. Police are appealing to the public for information about his activities, whereabouts, and who he was with from that time forward.

A search of the wooded area where the gruesome discovery was made wrapped up Sunday. Police have not disclosed a cause of death.

This is London's fourth homicide of the year.
