Youths Charged In School Vandalism

London police say two teens are charged after an act of vandalism at an elementary school.

Police were called to Arthur Ford Public School on Viscount Rd. around 4:30pm Thursday. According to police, a custodian was working inside when he heard loud noises coming from the second floor. When police arrived, two teens ran through the schoolyard but were arrested by officers.

Police say several windows, a computer tower, and a cement block were damaged. The total estimate of the damage is $4,210.

Two teens, age 14 and 17, are now charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and break, enter, and mischief under $5,000.

Their names cannot be released because of their ages.
