Crash Takes Out Hospital Sign

One person was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash that saw one of the vehicles plow through the St. Joseph's Health Care sign.

London police were called to the collision on Richmond St. at Grosvenor St. around 6:40am Tuesday. Investigators determined a car was heading south on Richmond St. when it attempted to turn left, crossing into the path of a northbound pickup truck.

The force of the crash sent one of the vehicles into the hospital sign at St. Joseph's Health Care and damaged a portion of a stone retaining wall.

One person was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have indicated charges are pending.
