London police are searching for a suspect following a brazen daytime armed robbery at a convenience store in Old East Village.
A man, wearing a disguise over his face, walked into the Lorne Ave. mini-mart near English St. around 2:31pm on Sunday. According to police, the man pulled out a weapon and demanded money and merchandise from the clerk. He then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and store items.
The clerk was not physically hurt.
Police have not said what type of weapon was used in the robbery.
The police street crime unit is continuing its investigation.
