One person is dead after two vehicles burst into flames following a collision in Simcoe.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday shortly before 5:10pm, a passenger vehicle was travelling west on Windham Rd. W when it collided with a school bus that was heading south Nixon Rd. As a result of the crash, both vehicles caught fire.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was removed by an off-duty officer and an attending officer, but was pronounced dead at the scene. The person's identity is being withheld until the next of kin have been notified.
The driver of the bus and the several passengers on board were not injured in the crash.
Windham Rd. 12 and Nixon Rd. are expected to be closed until around midnight to allow officers to conduct an investigation.
