Police Report Largest Fentanyl Seizure To Date

London police say they seized 50 g of the deadly drug fentanyl in a raid this week.

Officers searched a hotel room on Exeter Rd. around 5pm Wednesday and seized drugs, cash, and ammunition. A man and a woman were taken into custody.

In total, officers seized:

  • 50 g of powdered fentanyl
  • 192 g of crystal methamphetamine
  • 44 g of cocaine
  • 100 hydromorphone capsules (9 mg)
  • Approximately $13,000 in Canadian currency
  • 50 rounds of .22 calibre ammunition

Police estimate the value of the drugs at about $50,000.

A 31-year-old London man and a 31-year-old woman from St. Thomas are charged.
