A construction project will close Hwy. 401 west of London this weekend.
The highway will be closed in both directions between Iona Rd. and Colonel Talbot Rd. at 10pm Saturday so crews can demolish the Mill Road overpass. The closure will be in effect until 8am Sunday.
Detours will be in effect. According to the Ministry of Transportation, vehicles will be detoured onto Iona Rd. Talbot Line and Colonel Talbot Rd.
The MTO also advises that traffic will be delayed at times during the construction of the new overpass.
