Old Electrontics? Take Them To Bud Gardens

Londoners will be able to rid their homes of old, unwanted televisions, radios, and computers this weekend.

Budweiser Gardens will be holding an Electronic Recycling Day from 9am to 1pm on Sunday. The free event is being billed as an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of any old electronic devices they have lying around their homes or offices.

“We are excited to be hosting the upcoming Electronic Recycling Day and hope that folks will utilize this opportunity to clear out old cell phones, computers, and other electronics in a safe and environmentally friendly manner,” said Brian Ohl, general manager of Budweiser Gardens.

While all electronics will be accepted, Londoners are asked not to bring any major appliances such as refrigerator, stoves, washers, dryers, or freezers.

A Waste Connections shred truck will also be on site for anyone looking to dispose of confidential documents.

Parking for the Electronic Recycling Day will be available in the west parking lot, off of Ridout St.
