A London man was among those arrested after a large amount of drugs, weapons, cash, and stolen property was found at a Huron County home.
Police say on Wednesday, members from the Huron County OPP, Community Street Crime Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, and West Region Canine searched a residence on Hullett-McKillop Rd. in Central Huron.
Police seized a large quantity of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, cannabis, and magic mushrooms. The drugs have a combined, estimated street value of $12,490.
Drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash were seized at the scene. Police also recovered prohibited weapons and stolen property, including a pickup truck, an ATV, a generator, and a Mig welder.
Police have arrested and charged six people in connection to the bust and are also looking to arrest another male suspect.
A 35-year-old man from London has been charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to a prohibition Order
