“We are really proud to be a part of the London community and excited to be able to offer even more valuable employment opportunities within it,” said Arthur van Raalte, director of factory operations at Nestlé Canada. “For the past 52 years, we have been building a strong foundation for jobs within our state-of-the-art facility that people can feel proud of, and hope to do the same for many more years to come.”

The hirings come as the company works to complete a $51.5-million, 9,000 sq ft expansion that will boost its production capabilities. The London facility manufactures frozen treats such as Haagen-Dazs, Parlour, and Drumstick ice cream cones for distribution across Canada.

During peak season, the plant currently employs roughly 750 people.

Those interested in applying to work at Nestlé Canada can attend a job fair being held at the Hellenic Community Centre at 133 Southdale Rd. W from 10am to 4pm June 21.
