Fitness Centre Manager Charged With Voyeurism

A manager at an Ingersoll fitness centre is in hot water with police following an incident of alleged voyeurism.

Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint on May 17 that a voyeurism incident had taken place at Target Zone Health & Fitness on Thames St. S.

Details of the incident have not been released, but following an investigation, police arrested Walter Jason Peat, 48, of Zorra Township.  Peat, who is the facilities manager for the business, is charged with voyeurism contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

He has been released with a promise to appear in a Woodstock court at a later date.

BlackburnNews.com has contacted Zone Health & Fitness which has confirmed Peat remains employed at the business.  Staff at Zone Health & Fitness have refused to comment further.
