Police say they were called on Thursday, May 17 by a concerned citizen who saw a man punching and kicking a dog outside a home in the area of Clarke Rd. and Wavell St. The attack was captured on surveillance video.

"Police began investigating and video of the incident has been located," a police spokesperson said in an email to BlackburnNewsLondon.com. "The dog has been located and is uninjured. The dog is currently with the owner."

Police say the suspect is not the owner of the dog.
