The London Lightning scored a close 130-127 victory over the St. John's Edge on Thursday to take the series lead in the Central Division Final.
London took a 31-20 lead in the first quarter, but St. John's kept it close in the second with the Lightning only leading 53-51 heading into halftime. The Edge continued to hound London in the third but the Lightning remained ahead by one point, with a score of 89-88 heading into the fourth. London held onto the advantage in the final frame to win with a three-point lead.
Royce White led London with a game-high 37 points and nine assists. Both Mo Bolden and Ryan Anderson put up 24 points, while Garrett Williamson added another 16 points and six rebounds.
The Game 5 win gives London a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The two teams face off in Game 6 on Sunday. Tip-off is at 2pm in London.
