One person has been taken to hospital in connection with a suspicious package investigation in downtown London.
The London Police Service said police officers, fire crews, a hazmat team, and paramedics all responded to 148 Fullarton St. at around 3:50pm on Friday.
A woman who was at the building has since been taken to hospital with minor injuries and was later released.
An investigation into the contents and the origin of the package is ongoing, police said.
Police have determined that the suspicious package no longer poses a risk to public safety. Fullarton St. was closed between Talbot St. and Richmond St. while emergency crews were at the scene. The road has since been reopened.
