Weather Advisory Lifted

Environment Canada has lifted weather travel advisory for the London-area.

The warning was issued for London-Middlesex, Elgin County, and Oxford County early Wednesday morning because forecasters were expecting 5-10 cm of snow to fall on the region before the wintry weather moved northeast.

People in the area woke up to snow covered and slippery roads. Drivers were urged to use extra caution.

School buses started on schedule, but due to slippery conditions, officials warned there could be delays.
