Moir, Virtue To Perform In London

Londoners won't have too long a wait to see Olympic gold medalists and Canadian figure skating darlings Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir back on the ice.

The ice dancing duo are among the Canadian figure skating greats set to perform at Budweiser Gardens on May 6 as part of the 2018 Stars On Ice Tour.

Moir and Virtue are the most decorated figure skaters in Olympic history after winning gold medals in ice dancing and team figure skating during the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The pair already have a gold medal and two silvers from previous Olympics. Hundreds of fans packed the London International Airport on Monday evening to welcome Virture and Moir back home from South Korea.

Stars On Ice also features seven other Pyeongchang Olympic medalists including gold and bronze winner Kaetlyn Osmond, gold medalist and three-time world champion Patrick Chan, and gold and bronze recipients Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford.

On top of the most recent Olympians, two of the most decorated and beloved Canadian figure skaters of all-time - Elvis Stojko and Jeffrey Buttle - will also take the ice.

Tickets for Stars On Ice start at $25 and can be purchased online at www.starsonice.ca or www.budweisergardens.com, in person at Budweiser Gardens, Fanshawe College BizBooth, or Books Plus and by phone at 1-866-455-2849.
