Charges Laid In Summer Shooting

London police say charges have been laid after shots were fired into a home where a woman was beaten and left with life threatening injuries.

Police were called to a home on Frances St. on July 31, 2017 after a woman was viciously assaulted. A 46-year-old man was later charged with attempted murder. During their investigation, police learned that shots had been fired into the home the previous month.

Investigators determined that there were no injuries as a result of the shots. On January 17, 32-year-old Kristian Alban Jarvis of no fixed address was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, discharging a firearm into a place, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Police say he has been in custody since June 28, 2017 on unrelated matters.
