$42K Worth Of Drugs Forgotten In Hotel

Always double-check your hotel room for personal belongings before checking out.

It's a simple step that could have saved a London woman from drug charges following a weekend stay at a Guelph hotel.

Guelph police say staff at a west-end hotel found $42,000 worth of cocaine and crystal meth in a room after the people who had been staying there checked out on Saturday.

A woman, who had return to collect the forgotten items, was arrested by police soon after.

A 33-year-old London woman is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
