The London Knights suffered a 6-2 defeat at the hands of the Sarnia Sting at Budweiser Gardens on Friday.
After a scoreless first period, Sam Miletic started things off for the Knights with a goal 4:13 into the second. However, Hugo Leufvenius, Connor Schlichting, Brady Hinz, and Anthony Salinitri all scored back-to-back goals to put Sarnia in the lead. Miletic scored his second of the night for London 17:20 into the second to make it 4-2 heading into the third.
The Sting held off the Knights in the final frame, while Jordan Ernst and Drake Rymsha scored another two unanswered goals to cap off the win for Sarnia.
The Sting also out shot the Knights 38-33.
The Knights are on home ice on Saturday to take on the Mississauga Steelheads at 7pm. Also on Saturday, the Sting return home to battle the the Flint Firebirds at 7:05pm.
