Knights Fall To Generals 5-3

The London Knights dropped a 5-3 decision to the Oshawa Generals on Friday.

Max Jones scored for London early in the first period, but the Generals fired back with three back-to-back goals to take a 3-1 lead heading into the second.

The Knights kicked off the second period with Evan Bouchard after 12:29, but Oshawa again countered with another goal before the end of the frame to retain their lead.

Robert Thomas scored for the Knights 42 seconds into the third to make the score 4-3 for the Generals.  Oshawa scored the final goal of the game on an empty net in the final seconds of the period, after London pulled goaltender Joseph Raaymakers.

Raaymakers made 28 saves out of 33 shots on net.

The Knights will face off against the North Bay Battalion next on Saturday. Puck drop is at 7pm at Budweiser Gardens.
