City Giving Away Free Trees On National Tree Day

The City of London is giving away free trees.

Wednesday marks National Tree Day, and to celebrate, the city has set up three locations to give away a variety of trees.

It’s is hoping that the tree giveaway will help the million tree challenge with the goal of planting a million trees in the city.

There are limited quantities and the giveaway will operate on a first come, first served basis.

Tree types include Birch, Black Cherry, Honey Locust, several varieties of Maple trees, Apple and Pear trees, Serviceberry, White Pine, and Redbud.  Locations and times are below.
